Death certificate authentication process
Most countries require authenticated death certificate from the respective Embassies or Consulates. These Embassies or Consulates require State and US level Apostille/Authentication in order to authenticate the death certificate.

- Obtain the Texas Apostille first
- Form DS-4194, Request for Authentication Service,
- The fee is $20 per document.
