In Loving Memory of T Jacob Vaidyan (Kunjumon)

T Jacob Vaidyan, lovingly known as Kunjumon, entered this world on December 16, 1945, in Padinjattekkara Thoppil Thekkathil House, Thevalakara, Karunagapally, India. Born to the late Thomas Vaidyan and Achamma Thomas, he grew up with four brothers and a sister, surrounded by the warmth of family. He is a cherished member of the Kaithavilayil Vaidyan family and was originally a member of Thevalakara MarThoma Valiyapalli .

Jacob led a virtuous and strong Christian life, embodying selflessness, concern for others, truthfulness, and integrity. He was a man of grace and resilience, facing life's challenges with a quiet strength that inspired those fortunate enough to know him.

After completing his studies, Jacob embarked on a transformative journey to North India and the Middle East in search of opportunities. Driven by the aspiration for a better life, he faced the unknown with courage and determination. In 1996, he and his family relocated to Dallas, Texas, where he forged deep connections with friends and became closely involved with the church. Later, he returned to India to savor his well-deserved retirement, frequently visiting Dallas to spend cherished moments with his children and grandchildren.

Jacob is survived by his devoted wife, Marykutty (Lizy), with whom he shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and a spiritual partnership. Together, they navigated life's journey hand in hand. Jacob leaves behind a legacy through his three children: Philip Vaidyan, John Vaidyan, and Leena Merin. He was a loving father-in-law to Annie Jacob, Smitha John, and Merin Samuel. Jacob was blessed with seven adoring grandchildren: Aaron, Abhishek, Akash, Amaya, Eben, Ellen, and Elyssa.

In addition to his immediate family, Jacob is also survived by his sister, Rahelamma John, creating a tapestry of memories and love that will be cherished forever.

As we bid farewell to T Jacob Vaidyan, let us remember the indelible mark he left on our hearts and the lives he touched. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
