Alhaji Mohamed Jalloh our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and brother passed away peacefully January 3 of this month at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, daughter, two sons, and two grandchildren.
He was born in Freetown in 1951 and went to Njala University to obtain his first degree. In addition he acquired two master's degree, one from England in the early 1980s and another from the U.S. in the early 2000s. He enjoyed a great career as a teacher and later as a high school counselor in his final years. He lived a full life in accordance with the teachings and laws of Islam and performed the hajj in 2016 with his wife.
He is remembered by many for his modesty and decorum and we ask that you pray for him in these difficult times because it's Mohamed's belief that it is: "To Allah we come from and to Him we shall return"
