Death certificate authentication process

Most countries require authenticated death certificate from the respective Embassies or Consulates. These Embassies or Consulates require State and US level Apostille/Authentication in order to authenticate the death certificate.

How to apply for Texas Apostille/Authentication
 

In Texas Apostille is obtained from office of Secretary of State in Austin. Additional information is available in the Apostille (PPS) or Apostille (PDF) files.

You may mail the authentication request which takes at least 15 days but walk in takes 10-15 minutes.

Form 2102. Request for Official Certificate or Apostille. ( Word, Acrobat)

The fee is $15 per document.
